Birdie's Helping Hands was founded by Elizabeth Peznell Shrout with a vision to create affordable, safe, sober living environments where people struggling with addiction can find rest, healing and restoration. Elizabeth has lived the experience; she understands the guilt, shame, alienation, desperation and loss that accompanies addiction
Birdie's Helping Hands was founded by Elizabeth Peznell Shrout with a vision to create affordable, safe, sober living environments where people struggling with addiction can find rest, healing and restoration. Elizabeth has lived the experience; she understands the guilt, shame, alienation, desperation and loss that accompanies addiction. She found freedom through her faith and now lives to help others find true freedom too. Birdie's Helping Hands plans to open multiple FREE sober living homes (Birdie's Place) to provide the space, resources, programs and services that lead to recovery.
